Ryan P. Hellmer graduated cum laude from Benedictine College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education in 2005. He received his law degree from the Washburn University School of Law in May 2009 with a Certificate in Business and Transactional Law.

His areas of practice are primarily business and transactional law and health law. Mr. Hellmer was the primary revising author of Health Information Management: A Law and Practice Manual, Third Edition. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Kansas.  He has also contributed a number of articles to Greater Kansas MD News.
