Cameron S. Bernard joined Goodell Stratton Edmonds & Palmer LLP after serving as a research attorney at the Kansas Court of Appeals for Judge Kathryn Gardner. A Topeka native, Mr. Bernard graduated cum laude from Washburn University School of Law in 2019. He received a master’s degree in worldview studies from the Institute for Christian Studies in Toronto and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Kansas. The Kansas Bar admitted him in 2019.

 

While at Washburn Law, Mr. Bernard won the John K. Kleinheksel Prize For Excellence in Oral Advocacy and was a semifinalist in the 2019 John J. Gibbons Moot Court Competition. He earned nine CALI awards, which are given to the highest scoring student in each law school class. Mr. Bernard also interned at the Shawnee County District Attorney’s Office.

 

Mr. Bernard’s professional memberships include the Topeka Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, and the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel.
