Ms. Casement joined Goodell Stratton Edmonds & Palmer LLP after serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Division of the Office of the Kansas Attorney General for over four years. Ms. Casement graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washburn University School of Law in 2012. She also received a Bachelor of Arts from Washburn University, majoring in History and English Literature. She was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 2012.
During law school, Ms. Casement competed on the Moot Court Team. She was inducted into the National Order of the Scribes and National Order of the Barristers. Ms. Casement also interned for Magistrate Judge K. Gary Sebelius of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas during law school.
Ms. Casement's professional memberships include the Topeka Bar Association, Women Attorneys Association of Topeka (President-Elect), and Kansas Women Attorneys Association (Membership Chair and Website Coordinator). Ms. Casement's community service includes mentoring women confined at Topeka Correctional Facility and directing an Upward Basketball program in which approximately 200 children participate.
Ms. Casement is admitted to practice before the courts of Kansas, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
